About me

My name is Sydney Ko, and I'm a current graduate student studying journalism at Boston University. I am a tireless advocate and a firm believer in telling stories for those who can't do so themselves. 

I was born and raised in Taiwan. Growing up, I've always believed in the power of words and how they can chang the world. Perhaps that belief solidified itself, even more when I realized comprehending math was a shortcoming I had to come to accept. 

After completing my undergraduate degree in Political Sciences and History at QueenUniversity, and serving three years at the Queen's Journal, a student-run newspaper on campus, I'd like to further hone my skills as a journalist at Boston University.
